Administrative Law Judge (Retired)

Right after graduation from law school, I married my beautiful college sweetheart Judith. She is a clinical psychologist, with a private practice in Morristown and a consulting company in human-relations training. I served for thirty years as a state administrative law judge in Newark, retiring in 2009. We had two children. Sadly our daughter Eve died just before her 17th birthday. Our son Peter is married and works for Google in California. Our grandson Xander is one-year-old. I divide my time between part-time judicial work, studying French and visiting our new grandson in San Francisco.kenspring@gmail.com |

We have two daughters; Asha (37) and Shannon (35) and five grandchildren. My wife Marlene and I were married in India and will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in February 2013. Following college, I joined the Peace Corps and served for two years in a village in north India. Since my Peace Corps service, I worked for Peace Corps in staff positions in India, Thailand, the Kingdom of Tonga, Kenya, Botswana and DC. When not working overseas I was the State Director for AmeriCorps in Alabama. I would like to thank Joe Mig and the entire planning team for all their hard work in arranging this reunion. I look forward to seeing everyone.

This is a great site! Can you believe we got to collect social security before the program went bust? Can't wait for 2012.

I am now spending most of my time in Sonoma County, 2 hours north of San Francisco, in a little town called Guerneville on the Russian River 10 miles from the ocean with my partner of 16 years, Michael Phinney. I still have my house in San Francisco and only go into the city for Opera, Symphony and Ballet. After three days in the city I am ready to come back to this remote retreat on 14 acres of giant redwoods where I can read and relax and enjoy retirement. I still travel a great deal of the time and just celebrated my 66th birthday in Barcelona. I look forward to our 50th Class Reunion and seeing all of my classmates.
